Winter is right here, and it is not feeling sorry for anyone, thus, what is up to us is to find ways to take advantage of this chill season and try some delicious winter drinks that warm up even those cold-blooded ones.

Salt Caramel Espresso Martini
If you are a fan of coffee and martini, then this is the perfect time for, if well executed, a perfect combination! The best of all, with simple ingredients:
- 2 oz Rum
- 2.5 oz Baileys Salted Caramel
- 4 oz Chilled Espresso
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Crushed Pretzels for Garnish (wow!)
Down to work:
Place the chocolate in a mixing bowl.
Fill a medium saucepan with water and bring a boil.
Hold the bowl of chocolate chips over the saucepan and slowly stir chocolate until melted.
Once melted, lace the rim of a martini glass in the chocolate and dust with crushed pretzels. Place glass to the side.
Combine Baileys Salted Caramel, rum, and chilled espresso in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until thoroughly chilled.
Strain contents into garnished martini glass.
Is there anything more perfect that the combination of cinnamon, orange and star anise during winter? only when they come together to become this perfect winter drink. Ready?
- 70ml infused gin (recipe below)
- 50ml bitter liqueur (eg. Campari)
- 50ml sweet vermouth
- 2 slices of orange
- 50g golden caster sugar
- 2 cloves
- zest of 1 oranges
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise
- 250ml gin
Down to work:
Mix all the ingredients, except for the gin. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil then leave it on low heat for 6 or 11 minutes, until it gets with a syrupy texture. Now, let it cool for using on the next step.
Pour the syrup with all the spices into a jar and add the gin. Shake it pretty well and store for at least a week to infuse (you can do it!). If you want to leave it a bit more, no problem.
To serve this, you must fill with ice cubes two rock glasses. Stir the infused gin, martini bitters, sweet vermouth in a cocktail shaker, divide the liquid between the glasses and add a slice of orange in each.

Down to work:Now is pretty simple! Combine all the ingredients and stir until the honey is dissolved. Garnish your drink with an anise star, a lemon slice and/or a cinnamon stick, if desired. Feel free to add more spices until the desired taste. You are all set!
